I am running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 8th October for the Prisoners’ Education Trust. 

As my 40th birthday approaches, I wanted to set myself a challenge to get back into running - and to take part in my first ever race.  

Running for PET is extra motivation for me. Improving access to education in prison is crucial for reducing reoffending, both to open up employment opportunities for prison leavers and to improve mental health and self-worth.
