Ward 41 are walking Mam Tor. On the 1st July 2023 a group of us from the Haematology department will be taking part in a sponsored walk to raise money for ward 41 at the LRI.

We are a ward who care for patients undergoing treatment for blood disorders and blood cancers. Due to the nature of the conditions we treat, many patients stay with us for prolonged periods for treatments, including chemotherapy. We would like to raise money to improve patients stay and enhance their experience with us on the ward.

Currently there is around 15 of us signed up to partake, with more to be roped in before the day!
