Dreamflight's aim is to take children with a serious illness or disability to Orlando for the holiday of a lifetime visiting the theme parks. To bring some fun and joy to these children whose illnesses cause pain, distress and disruption to their lives.

Story

The Haute Route is known as the toughest amateur cycling event in the world. It includes:

- 3 cols (mountains / mountain passes) a day
- an average 10,000 ft of ascent each day
- equal to a third the height of Everest each day

I have previously twice cycled the etape, the public stage of the Tour de France. But that is just one day. I have never come close to 7 days of this level of endurance.

Dreamflight is a UK charity that changes young lives through taking children with a serious illness or disability, without their parents, on the holiday of a lifetime to Orlando. It is the partner charity of the Learning & Performance Institute.
