Story

Hello,

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Everyone involved in the event will be raising money via this website, so the total amount raised will be a joint effort.

This year we will be doing a charity leg wax in the first week of Feb, followed by a Charity football event in Memory of Jagjit Aujla. The match this year will be played in Sunderland on the 6th of Feb.

The money raised this year will be going towards research into Osteosarcoma which is what Jagjit was diagnosed with. Further reading available here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osteosarcoma.

The NECCR is a registered charity which was founded by parents to raise money for research into childhood cancer. Much of the research is carried out at the Sir James Spence Institute and the Northern Institute for Cancer Research in Newcastle. The money we raise will be going towards the RVI hospital Newcastle Upon Tyne.
