Khalsa Aid (KA) is primarily a international humanitarian relief agency, based on the teachings of the Sikh Gurus who preached well being of all humanity. Since the launch of KA in 1999 we have provided aid in many different disasters.Most recently Khalsa Aid has launched projects in Punjab.

Story

Hi All,

I will be doing the Khalsa Aid Ben Nevis Hike on Saturday 7th September 2013 to help raise funds for Khalsa Aid. Khalsa Aid is a humanitarian aid agency that has been carrying out humanitarian aid work around the world since 1999. The funds raised by myself and other volunteers doing the Khalsa Aid Ben Nevis hike will go towards Khalsa Aid's current projects which include:

The Horn of Africa
Focus Punjab
Water4Haiti
Syrian Refugees
Punjab Underprivileged Rural Empowerment (PURE)

Nothern India Floods (Uttrakhand)

Humanitarian aid projects which Khalsa Aid have undertaken in the past include:

Albania - Aiding Displaced Kosovan Refugees.
Turkey - Earthquake Relief.
Orissa, India - Rehabilitation After a Devastating Typhoon.
Gujarat, India - Earthquake-Response Relief Aid.
DR Congo- Relief Efforts In Response To a Volcanic Eruption.
Somalia - Water Purification Assistance.
Kabul, Afghanistan - War Rehabilitation Assistance.
Tsunami - Providing Food, Shelter & Sanitation.
Pakistan - Providing Rehabilitation & Assistance.
Indonesia - Art Therapy Sessions for Young Children.
Pathargaat (Dhaka,Bangladesh) - Cyclone Effected Area.
Panjab Floods - Panjab Floods Relief.
