Birmingham Hospice is the new name for Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice and John Taylor Hospice. Offering personalised support at home, in local communities or at the hospices, we help people across Birmingham to live well with their illness, right up to the very end of life.

Story

The love and admiration we have for this woman is limitless... With her life and story being inspirational.

Having fought some of the hardest battles in life, she still managed to smile through her own pain, even until the very end, to provide love, support and encouragement to those around her. Although not the biggest advocate of tact, she had the biggest heart of anyone we know. The strength she had and showed right until the end was classic Suki, never wanting to burden anyone with her pain, but taking on everyone else. But after a long hard battle with Cancer, and an even harder battle of saying goodbye to Arjun, Suki left us last night to be with Amar. We think he needed her more than us.

In the honour and memory of Suki's life, and also to thank the incredible staff at John Taylor Hospice where Suki spent her last few days, we would like to raise money for the Hospice to help as many other people to live their lasts days in the most comfortable and dignified way.
