Story

Anyone who knows me knows I love an alcoholic beverage, sometimes a bit too much. As a consequence, I wanted to do Dry January regardless. for health and wellbeing I wanted to raise money for a charity too, and I chose John Taylor Hospice primarily because someone I care about significantly holds the hospice very close to their heart and also because of my profession. Being part of end-of-life care is a very humbling experience and seeing how specialist palliative teams comfort the last days of people's lives made me want to raise money towards such a supportive, dedicated team. The precious nature of time is extremely important to me, and the fact John Taylor Hospice makes every moment matter is something that holds true to my heart.
