My name is Harriet Brown.  I am 24 years old
and running my first marathon, (gulp).  It is something I have
wanted to do for a number of years and I am grateful to Action Against
Hunger for giving me this amazing opportunity. I hope I can do you proud! 

I am very lucky in my day job to work as a recruitment consultant in the hospitality and catering industry. As often as I can, I love to explore new and exciting restaurants, keep up to date with the latest food trends and in fact everything I do, has something related to food. Whilst I really enjoy eating out it does make me very aware of just how lucky we are in the UK to have such an abundance and variety of food and dining options; whilst there are many people at home and abroad who struggle
every day to feed themselves and their families.  I hope that by
fundraising for Action Against Hunger I can, in some small way, help to
alleviate that problem and it will be those people who will inspire me as
I run the streets of London in training and on 23rd April 2017.
