The Benton & Claremont Road Dog and Cat Shelters help thousands of lost, unwanted, neglected, abused and abandoned animals every year. Their objective is the promotion of kindness and prevention of cruelty to animals, reuniting lost animals with their owners and find loving new homes for those no longer wanted. They cover the whole of the North East from two shelters within Newcastle - Claremont Road and Benton North Farm.

About the charity

OPERATING IN THE NORTH EAST, THE CRUELTY HOTSPOT OF ENGLAND SINCE 1896. THE CHARITY CARES FOR THOUSANDS OF LOST, UNWANTED, ABANDONED, ABUSED & NEGLECTED ANIMALS EVERY YEAR. WHEN IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO REUNITE ANIMALS WITH THEIR OWNERS, OR THEY ARE UNWANTED THE CHARITY FINDS LOVING NEW HOMES.
