We make life changing differences to patients and families across HDFT

Story

We are a multi disciplinary team comprising doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, dieticians, health care assistants and pharmacists all working together on the Harrogate Hospital Intensive Care Unit. We are passionate about our intensive care unit and extremely proud to have recently been rated as outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). However, there is always more that can be done to improve the quality of our patients’ experience. Unfortunately, due to the current financial climate funding is limited, so rather than complain, we have decided to partner with Total Warrior, challenge ourselves over 12 kms, 100 tons of mud, ice waters and electricity to raise vital funding for our patients. We aim to raise enough money to buy vital respiratory support equipment, a transport monitor and audio-visual equipment to stimulate our patients during their prolonged rehabilitation. Please know that every penny donated will go towards improving our patients journey. We thank you for your generosity and support.
