TCS London Marathon 2025

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
Hi everyone!
I’m beyond excited to be running the London Marathon 2025. After I postponed my 2024 entry (becoming a dad and gearing up to 26.2 miles were not destined for the same year), I'm back in the game.
It's been the most monumental year, and now I am ready to double down on feeling knackered all the time and get back to long runs - many of which Faye will be joining me for from the comfort of her little red running buggy!
This will be my first marathon since Brighton 2022, and I’m pushing myself to break my personal best, aiming for a sub-3hr 50min finish. But this isn’t just about a time goal; it’s about raising money for a cause that means a lot to me: Diabetes UK.
**Why Diabetes UK?**
Diabetes UK is a fantastic charity that supports millions of people living with or at risk of diabetes. Diabetes is a condition that affects how the body processes blood sugar, and it can have serious health consequences if not managed properly. With over 5 million people in the UK expected to have diabetes by 2025, the need for research, support, and awareness is greater than ever.
By supporting Diabetes UK, you’re helping fund research into better treatments, providing resources for families affected by diabetes, and pushing for improvements in care and prevention. Every penny counts, and your donation can make a real difference in the lives of those affected by this condition.
**Let’s Make a Difference Together!**
I’m so excited to take on this journey, not only for the physical challenge but also to contribute to a cause that could help so many. Whether you donate or share my page, every bit of support brings us closer to a world where diabetes can be better managed—and hopefully, one day, cured.
Thank you for being part of this marathon with me! Support my challenge by hitting the donate button on my profile page.
