My name is Harry and I need your help!

On the 24th April 2017 I am packing my bags and heading to Kenya to take part in a three month volunteering project with VSO. During these months I will be living and working alongside the local Machakos community on a sustainable development project that helps alleviate poverty.

VSO pays for all travel, vaccinations, expenses, insurance and accommodation, however they ask for a fundraising commitment of £1,500 from each volunteer. The money raised will go towards enabling the overall costs of ICS, ensuring they can continue sending youth volunteers to the developing world to make a lasting difference in disadvantaged communities.

Events

5th to the 10th February - I am doing a sponsored live below the poverty line challenge. For these five days I will only be allowed to spend £1 per day on all food and drink. 

30th of March - charity quiz night at The Bolton Arms in Redmire. 

1st of April - I am running a half marathon and having never run a mile in my life, this will be a significant challenge. 

I will also be offering beginner guitar lessons in return for a small donation.
