I have been involved in Transplant Sport since being part of the therapy team for the Great Britain & Northern Ireland athletes at the World Transplant Games held in Newcastle in 2019.

Since then, following multiple postponements due to COVID, I have been fortunate to be able to provide therapy support for the athletes at the British Games in Leeds and the European Games in Oxford.

I feel extremely privileged to have had the opportunity to work closely with the transplant community as the people and overall message is very inspiring. Every athlete at these Games has endured immense hardships, undergoing life-saving organ transplantation, and then working hard to be selected to compete at this high level.

I am lucky to have been chosen to support the GB&NI athletes again at the next World Transplant Games in April 2023, to be held in Perth, Australia. For this, I am fundraising to help cover the expenses to allow me to travel and support the athletes in Perth.

To help raise this money I am taking part in a sponsored skydive on April 3rd. Considering that I am scared of heights, this will be interesting…
