I am running the Loch Ness Marathon this year for Cancer Research. In the past 7 years my father was diagnosed with Colon Cancer and my father in law  with Prostate Cancer. Both were caught early and thankfully both are in remission. It is only thanks to the pioneering work of Cancer Research that such advances in early diagnosis enabled my father and father in law's cancer to be isolated and treated. Unfortunately my Uncle Geoff, who was very dear to me, died of leukemia three years ago. I am doing this run in memory of him.
