Help us to raise funds to restore sight and provide a better life for the most vulnerable people in Pakistan

Story

As part of the Who is Hussain 'Sprint for Sight' campaign, I am running the Richmond Park Half Marathon to raise money for transformational cataract surgeries for impoverished individuals in the most remote communities of Pakistan.

As an optometrist, I see multiple cataract cases a week. However a simple referral to the local eye clinic will ensure the patient gets their cataract taken out in a short & simple procedure. This is something we take for granted in the UK.

Blindness is a serious public health problem in Pakistan, affecting those who live in poverty the most, due to inadequate eye care in rural areas and the high costs involved. For every £31 donation, it will allow us to complete an entire eye cataract surgery, helping to restore the sight of those most in need. Your support makes a difference and gives a future to these people and their families. Please donate today and help me reach my target.
