HeadBox conquers the National Three Peaks Challenge

HeadBox conquers the Three Peaks · 3 October 2019
This October, 11 of the HeadBox team will be tackling the National Three Peaks challenge.
In 2018 HeadBox launched our Social Mission, to help provide space to people who don't have it, in partnership with St Mungo's, one of the UK's leading homelessness charity. To help reach our 2019 fundraising target some of the more intrepid members of the HeadBox team are taking part in the National Three Peaks Challenge in October, in a bid to raise £2,500 to for St Mungo's.
St Mungo's are on a mission to ensure that everyone has a place to call home and can fulfil their hopes and ambitions. As one of the largest providers of outreach services for people who sleep rough in England, St Mungo's work tirelessly to offer a route out of homelessness, towards recovery.
The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, often within 24 hours.
The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft) - twice the ascent of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, over a similar total walking distance. The total driving distance is 462 miles.
