Story

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday 16th November I will be donning my running shoes and taking part in the Aldershot Brutal 10km run in memory of a very special person.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of when family life changed forever and James was killed in action whilst serving in Afghanistan. We lost a fantastic son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and amazing friend to so many. Our boys have most certainly missed out on the shenanigans that would have ensued with Uncle James.

I will be raising funds for two charities, one of which I am privileged enough to work for and see first hand the difference it can make to those who have served and sacrificed, Help for Heroes.  And the second charity is for James' Regimental Association - The Royal Military Police Central Benevolent Fund. Please do not feel that you have to donate to both - any donation you are able to make to either charity would be gratefully appreciated.

Please do think of me on the 16th when I am running through 'Alligator Swamp', 'Swan Lake', 'Muddy Mile' and 'Duck Pond'!!!!

James - this one's for you!! x x x
