Our journey with Alzheimer’s started over 20 years ago, with my great Nan Doris having this terrible disease & then unfortunately my Nan June.  At the time there wasn’t the knowledge & understanding that there is today.

For us as a family and for Nan this was at times extremely difficult. Not fully understanding this disease & the impact it had on everyone was very hard. 

As time has moved on people are more aware of Alzheimer’s as it is impacting more in their lives. The more support, fundraising and & research that goes into helping the Alzheimer’s Society will help the families of the future.
