Im doing a skydive to  raise funds to help find a cure for MPNs rare blood cancer. 1 in 100,000 people are diagnosed with this form of cancer. My mum is one of them. She is my inspiration ❤️

My mum: I take pictures of my mum on her good days (this means getting up and dressed and able to be awake for a few hours)Where we are being silly eating cake or just to cherish that moment because the reality is we’re not sure when the next one will be. My mum is the bravest human being I know and there’s not a day that goes by where she does not try her best with all her power and strength to put a smile on her face no matter how much pain, exhaustion and absolute agony, she is in.  I’m with my mum on a day-to-day basis and I do everything within my power to make her laugh or smile or just to enjoy the moments that she is present. As any humans would but especially being her daughter I feel powerless with this gut wrenching feeling knowing there is nothing I can do to cure her cancer and her daily battles so I do everything possible to try and make her life easier and as enjoyable as possible as it can be.Because my mum is such a strong character and will always put others first before her own feelings what nobody sees is her daily struggles of being in constant pain unable to do day-to-day tasks without the pain ,brain fog and the constant tiredness along with the crippling side affects of not just the chemo but all the other medication that comes with it. My mum has sleepless nights tossing and turning in pain and then by the time she is able to rest and sleep she cannot then function or get out of bed and has no energy what so ever. It breaks my heart to see my mum struggle and the cancer stealing many precious memories,  most recently not being able to attend her sons wedding or taking her grandson to Disneyland. Every family moment is so precious to mum it kills her when her body fails her and she unable to be apart of these invaluable memories. It’s not only the physical side affects that’s come with the cancer but the emotion turmoil that she has to go through and fight on a daily basis. Mum when you are able to push your self through the with your endless amounts of continues battles to face the day and still smile and laugh with everything you are going through I’m in absolute ore of you. Your the bravest, strongest the most selfless, loving and kindest person I know. It’s such an honour to not only have you as my role model, but my mumma and my best friend.  If jumping out of a plane will help raise fund to find a cure. Then that’s what I am doing. I would do anything for you mum. I’m with you every-step of the way. I love you mum xx
