London Marathon again!

London Marathon 2022 · 2 October 2022 ·
I have been teaching for 15 years and in that time I’ve seen a teachers workload increase. We not only deliver lessons, we are mentors, coaches, social workers, counsellors and sometimes IT support! However, I stick with the job because I care about the young people I teach and love the being part of a school community.
However, the job is stressful and the ‘holidays’ are often a time to ‘catch-up’ on work. Many colleagues sacrifice time with their children and partners for time with their students and quite often the job becomes all encompassing and ‘too much’ with the work-life balance tipping the wrong way.
After some research I found that there is little in the way of dedicated charities or support until I found ‘Education Support’ and you can read about them below.
Thanks for taking the time to read my page and if you do donate then thank you again.
