So we've decided to take the leap (and one Helen has been putting off for too long), and hopefully join The Body Shop Foundation’s sixth challenge – the community volunteering based challenge called ‘Project Roar’.

This challenge aims to help enrich and support endangered big cats worldwide, campaigning to protect their survival and threatened habitat globally.  This community challenge will provide an exciting ‘hands on’ opportunity working with Big Cat Rescue – one of the world’s largest sanctuaries in the world dedicated to abused and abandoned big cats.

Scarily, there are more tigers as pets in the USA than there are in the wild now and if we don’t work to protect this glorious species, they will be wiped off tour planet forever.

This is a 5 day opportunity in October 2016 where challengers need to fundraise to pay for their place and then spend 5 days on the ground at the sanctuary.  It’s a tough physical challenge which will require stamina, endurance and team work.  But we need your help to get there!!
