On March 24 I'll be running the London Landmarks half marathon to raise money for the Migraine Trust.

Many of you will know that my great friend Jess suffers from chronic migraines so this cause is very close to my heart.

A condition she has had for years, it worsened suddenly and dramatically last summer, making her so unwell she had to quit her job and devote her full attention to finding solutions to the pain - an ongoing process.

Witnessing first-hand how deeply migraines can affect someone’s life has motivated me to support the work of the Migraine Trust, which is committed to undertaking research, changing public perception of a widely misunderstood condition, and inspiring solidarity among sufferers.
