Beth and Kym's Swimming challenge

Beth and Kym’s Swimming challenge · 20 February 2022
With your support, York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity is making a real difference in our local hospitals- making patients, relatives and visitors feel better and providing a level of care that is beyondthat which NHS funding alone could deliver.Patients receiving treatment now and in the future at York Hospital, Scarborough Hospital, Malton Hospital, Bridlington Hospital, New Selby War Memorial Hospital, St Helen's & White Cross Court Rehabilitation Hospitals and St Monica’s in Easingwold will all benefit from money raised. Thank you.
Over the last 6 months Beth and Kym have ended up on the Duke of Kent Ward at Scarborough Hospital. Kym was admitted in September with a very bad kidney infection and Beth in January with mesenteric adenitis. Both girls received fantastic care from all the staff on the ward who all went above and beyond to make the stay on the ward the best it could be! The girls decided they would like to raise money to help with resources on the ward so other children can have something to help cheer them up when they are not feeling the best.
