We want to improve the experience of our hospital for our patients by purchasing extra equipment or training which will make the difference. If you wish to support a particular ward or department, please state which one in your message and our finance team will ensure it goes to the right place.

Story

My lovely Dad, Dick Graham, died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday 27th Feb from lymphoma. Due to Covid-19 restrictions we are only able to hold a small family funeral at this time and we'd therefore like to ask for donations in his memory or in lieu of any flowers.

Dad received excellent care in St Bede's hospice at the QE Hospital Gateshead in the last few weeks of his life and we would like to recognise this by fundraising for the hospice.

The QE Gateshead Charitable Funds purchase items that are above and beyond what the NHS can provide alone, such as additional comforts for patients, extra medical equipment, staff education and training or research.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
