Well it’s a “Big Birthday” year for me this year, and after bottling doing the Mighty Hike last year I have now roped in my sister & a good friend to keep me company & kick start my life as a 40 something.... eeek!

After losing my Dad, I’ve spent the last 3 years wondering why life can be so cruel and take away those we love.... I have come to the conclusion that I will never really understand the reasons why, but know for sure that life is a challenge to be met head on & not one to be taken lightly!

And there in lays my reason for taking on this hike - like life, this will definitely be a challenge for me & I intend to tackle it head on. I am doing this for everyone I know who’s lives have crossed paths with Cancer. I hope you will support me by helping me reach my target to give something back to those who give their all to help others.
