My nan has always been the person you went to for advice, love, support and a good laugh. Over the last few years, the impact of Alzheimer's on her has been devastating to watch. Every penny that can help save a memory or support a family is precious. I've trained hard this year to try and give back a tiny amount for her and other family's affected as a thankyou for all she did for me. Those of you who know me know that I was not a runner, but someone special once told me you can do anything you want to and be anything you want to. So I'm going to try really hard to be a runner and Nan, this is for you.
