Dementia has or will impact us all in one form or another. Adèle's and my French grandfather (the wonderful Edgar Verdier) suffered from dementia at the end of his life, which was very sad to witness. The Alzheimer's Society invest in research into dementia care, cause, cure and prevention, to help meet the needs and concerns of people affected by dementia. Which is very cool.
