Story

Thank you so much for visiting our page.  Please do consider donating to support all those taking the Challenge.

The Help for Heroes Malvern Hills Challenge is a walk (although some may choose to run) for individuals and teams in the Malvern Hills to raise money for Help for Help for Heroes.  There are two walks:

  1. Long Walk.
‘End to end’, 15km starts at Bromesberrow.
  2. Short Walk. 7km starts at Malvern Hills Hotel

Both Walks finish at Rosebank Gardens in Malvern, with Hero
the Bear, music, food and drink and a host of celebrities to present medals and certificates as well as the most amazing raffle in the whole of Worcestershire.  All are welcome to join in the fun and to congratulate the finishers.

Entrants, individuals and teams, adults and children, pay to enter the Challenge but may also raise sponsorship if they wish.  Dogs can enter too and finishers receive a rosette.

On the day, walkers report to the Malvern Splash car park where they register and receive their goody bags, t-shirts and a map.  Coaches move them to the start locations.  Road crossing points are manned by Maritime Cadets to see walkers safely across.  Sweepers ensure that all are safely off the Hills.  Seven Area Rescue Association provides
rescue and first aid, with the emergency services on standby.

All proceeds go to Help for Heroes to support wounded and
injured Service men and women.
