The supporters of Dulwich Hamlet Football Club, of which I am an avid supporter, have set up the 'Inter City 125' campaign, to fundraise to take our first Team on a two-match pre-season tour in July 2018 to Hamburg. The HIGHLIGHT will be a special 125th anniversary match against our good friends Altona 93, who were also formed in 1893.
We are doing a sponsored walk on Saturday 22nd April 2017 from our Champion Hill ground to our last league game of the season at Wingate & Finchley, to help with this fundraising. This is a total of 11.6 miles.
We will split the money raised from this walk 50/50 with the national homeless charity Shelter.
I am sure many of you know of some of the fantastic charity and community work that Dulwich Hamlet FC have participated in in recent years. Sponsoring me only helps to support our club with these efforts, no matter how big or small.
