Story

In July 2025, my dad Alan and myself (Robynne) have challenged ourselves to take on the Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.

Coming from Dorset and the New Forest, we both love our walking adventures and have completed various fundraising endeavours before. This will be our first together ❤️

My dad and his brother, Bob have both had their battles with Cancer and are thankfully still here, reminding our family of just how precious life is.

They might not have been that fortunate if it were not for their own determination and all the amazing people in the NHS and Macmillan who made such a huge difference throughout their Cancer journeys.

Many of us may know family members, friends and loved ones, young and old who have been impacted by this dreadful disease. We hope to raise as much as we can, to help support others going through their own journey.

We'd be so grateful if you could help us reach our combined £500 pledge, which can help provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support. Please support us if you can, as every £1 donation helps to make a difference.

We'll be uploading pictures and streaming some videos on the day, so you can cheer us on when we're scrambling up the hills! 😂

There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without the support and donations from people like you.

Thank you! ❤️🫶❤️
