We care for all those affected by Behçet's to fight this rare and complex condition

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I suffer from this disorder, which is a very rare condition. Behcets is a chronic rheumatic illness, initiated by the body's immune system being over-reactive and producing unpredictable episodes of inflammation, which also causes arhtritic symptoms amongst many more complex problems. I have been living with this for nearly two years in this time I have realised how little money and awarenes there is regarding this condition. I have excellent friends that are taking part in Tough Mudder with me this year, but I could not have done this without my boss - Doug Hobbs - who has sponsored me to take part. I am asking for a donation of any size as there is little money given to this nasty disorder that I have found difficult to come to terms with.

I am also turning 40 in November and would like to achieve this challenge for the second time before then!

Thank you for visiting my page.
