Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
You have probably heard this line a thousand times 'Cancer Affects Everyone' but it is true, there are millions of people who know a relative, a friend, a loved one who has battled and won, or battled and lost in the fight against Cancer. Until we find a cure for Cancer then we will continue to hear the stories of families who suffer. At the Young Persons Cancer Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital the patients in the Unit are extremely brave and truly remarkable and I want to make a difference to their time in hospital and help them through their treatment.
I am now taking on a big personal challenge... The London Marathon! Over the next four months I am going to be running through the wind, rain (hopefully not snow!) in my training. Please think of me when you are watching the TV in the evenings or lying in your comfortable bed on Sunday mornings! If you live near me, then please feel free to get your trainers on and come and run with me..........!
Please take time to donate, even if it is just purely because you want to see me go through the pain of running 26 miles!
