Lily's Big Chop!

Holly Graham is raising money for Little Princess Trust

Lily's big chop! · 13 October 2021

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

As most of you will know, Lily has beautiful, long red hair. Recently she has been going on and on about wanting to get it cut short so, after much resistance from me, we have decided to go for the big chop and send her hair to The Little Princess Trust. This way, she will feel like a SuperHairo (!!) and I will know that some good has come from it! We would also love to raise some money to go along with her donation. It costs £550 to make, fit and style one wig for a child, so we are hoping to get enough sponsorship for this. The big chop will be happening at The Hair Salon on Thursday 28th October. Please donate whatever you can. Hol & Lil xxx

Here are a few words from the charity...

When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
