Thanks for taking the time to visit our "JustGiving" page.
The Homebase Distribution Team joined up with colleagues from Unipart to set themselves a gruelling challenge to cycle through the ancient Kingdom of Wessex in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust (our charity partner for 2010 - 2012). Some participated in the Wessex 50 (miles) and some participated in the Wessex 100 (miles)
As you may know, the TCT work tirelessly to give teenage cancer sufferers the very best chance of a positive outcome from their treatment. They have created specialist units that aren’t like ordinary cancer wards as everything is geared towards making an environment that is tailored to a teenagers needs.
Every day in the UK, six teenagers are diagnosed with cancer and the TCT want every young person with cancer in this country to have the best possible chance of recovery. Your kind donations will be used to continue their good work and provide the same great care to even more people in the future.
Please ensure you tick the Gift Aid box if you are a UKtaxpayer. This will give the charity an additional 25%. So please dig deep and donate now.
