We are abseiling down Peel Tower in Ramsbottom to raise money for Re>Build, a local charity who help people in need by:-

Providing essential household items by collecting unwanted furniture and white goods, then making them available to local families who are struggling to replace broken or worn out items such as beds, sofas, wardrobes and white goods. In any one year, between 1500 and 2000 families are helped with furniture, many from ex-armed forces backgrounds, who have mental health or other disabilities, are lone parents or people who have suffered domestic abuse.

The charity also supports local people by offering opportunities for volunteering or undertaking work experience. In doing so, they help prevent thousands of usable goods from being dumped in landfill. Over 50% of Re>Build's small workforce began with the charity as volunteers and are now able to support others.
