Story

It is a real shame that the main Children in Need Rickshaw Challenge has had to be adapted and therefore we have decided to help out.  Using our genuine, heavy rickshaw a small group of friends who live nearby will be tackling the challenge of cycling 100 circuits in Bedford Park over the next few days finishing on Sunday.

I am involved in running a wheelchair racing group at Bedford and County Athletic Club and it is very evident that purposeful physical activity can be so beneficial to both the mental and healthy well-being of the young people involved.  The improvement of many aspects of their lives is recognised by their parents and so this is what has stimulated a desire to get other children involved in meaningful activity so that they , too, can benefit.
