Story
A few months ago I swore a fairly daft oath that, by the time the UK had left the European Union, I would have drunk a pint or local equivalent in the capital city of every single member state. I appear to actually be giving this a go over the next few months (I'm writing this in August 2018), and I fully intend to get it done before the deadline. Basically I've embarked on a silly project, left it very late and as yet lack a settled plan for achieving my objectives, so at least the whole thing is very Brexit.
It would be nice if some good came out of this, so I've decided to raise money for the Scottish Refugee Council. I'm in the incredibly fortunate position of being able to leave Scotland, travel freely across Europe, and then come back without running into any issues. For far too many people, that wouldn't be the case.
Scottish Refugee Council works in the interest of refugees in Scotland by campaigning for their rights and providing them with direct support. It plays a fantastic role in helping vulnerable members of society, and in trying to make Scotland a better place. Any donations anyone would like to make towards their work would be massively appreciated.
