Story

On 22rd April 2018 I'll be running the London Marathon and I need you to donate

Why the Zambian Society Trust I hear you ask? It was through visiting family who have lived and were born in Zambia that gave me the opportunity to see what amazing work charities like the Zambia Society Trust are doing for those living in Zambia.

The Zambia Society Trust provides funding for schools, orphanages and hospitals, grants for disadvantaged students to pursue higher education, mobility aids for disabled children, bursaries for health workers wishing to improve their skills, and footballs and netballs for schoolchildren to encourage exercise and help young Zambians experience the joy of sport. This charity especially focuses on vulnerable children and young people. It is estimated that there are around 1.5 million orphans in Zambia and that around 40% of all children in the country are undernourished, so there is a very great need for some of the things which we take for granted in our day to day lives. ZST's projects are run by dedicated local people who willingly give their time for this cause. The Trust has been supporting those in need in Zambia for 50 years and consequently, is well placed to allocate resources where they are most needed and can be utilised in the most effective way

Thank you for visiting my page and it would mean an awful lot if you could please donate.
