Ride London 2023 · 28 May 2023 ·

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Many of you will know my Mum has suffered from Multiple Sclerosis  since the mid-2000's. She's now at an advanced stage and she can only now move her left arm and hand. She requires round the clock care but still finds the ability to smile.

MS is a terrible condition which gradually reduces the suffers mobility and causes other complications which reduce lifespan and the quality of the sufferer's life. Despite the condition affecting around 100,000 people in the UK alone, there is little understood about the disease and how to slow it's progression.

With additional funding and breakthroughs in technology we hope that future sufferers may be able to look forward to better prognoses or even maybe a cure.

To raise funds, I am riding the Prudential Ride London 100-mile cycle race on 28th May 2023, starting in Embankment then over to Essex and back down to London again.

If you can’t afford to donate, don't worry, just send me good wishes for the event, if you can afford a couple of quid, stick it in, it all counts. If you can afford more, it will be more than greatly received and put to brilliant use.

Thank you so much, Hunter
