We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Here we go again in our 6th year of fundraising for Prostate Cancer UK.

This Pandemic has not only had a terrible impact on us all financially, emotionally and sadly through those lost to covid 19 but it has also had a huge impact on the service, treatment and research carried out on a vast number of medical conditions. I'm terrified of the final cost that this pandemic will have had on people newly diagnosed, living with and trying to have treatment for many cancers and not just Prostate Cancer.

Men desperately need you help and generosity to help fight Prostate Cancer and it is for this reason that once again we are raising money for Prostate Cancer UK.

As we look forward to lockdown lifting events are being planned and set for the back end of summer/ early autumn and we are once again gearing up to take on some epic challenges and raise money at one or two music festivals.

We have our fingers crossed that we will once again be invited to raise money at this years Victorious Festival over the August Bank Holiday weekend in Southsea and then the Isle of Wight Festival over the weekend of the 18th/19th September.

Also side these events i hope to be taking on the 2014 Grand Depart Classic cycle ride in Harrogate and hope to be able to cycle up and back from the Isle of Wight. Then on the 3rd October i will be one of 50'000 participants taking on the Virtual London Marathon where i will have 24hrs to complete the 26.2 miles. With fibromyalgia, hip problems and other spinal issues this will be the hardest event i have ever taken on and truly is my nemesis.

Further updates to follow on all of the events planned for 2021, but in the meantime you can donate via this page and i thank you most sincerely for your donation.

Your donation, your gift to Prostate Cancer UK, will help me push through each and every mile all year long and will help save the life of a loved one from ever becoming one of these men, one of these 11'680 men who lose the battle in the fight against Prostate Cancer.

Join Men United, join the fight in finding the weapons we need to rid this world of Prostate Cancer once and for all.

We are also looking for Corporate Sponsorship this year where we can help promote your business at our fundraising events and during the cycling events planned for the year. With a dedicated social media page and sponsorship banner, im sure your business would benefit from its association with this campaign. For more information please message me direct at alltrades.iw@gmail.com

We always need help from volunteers at fundraising events around the Isle of Wight & Mainland throughout the year. If you feel you can help out in any way shape or form please contact me direct on 01983 533516, 07557 525 620 or email to alltrades.iw@gmail.com

Thank you all so much for reading this far and your anticipated support for this years fundraising efforts.

Ian Gregory.
