Story
I'm taking on the challenge or running every day to beat the target of running 100 miles in November to help raise awareness and much needed funds for pancreatic cancer. 👟 I had considered Movember but thought this would be easier for everyone than me growing a moustache 🥸
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer. Half of people with the disease die within three months of diagnosis. With research underfunded and left behind, people are left with only hope to hold onto. That’s why we really need your support this November during Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. Donate now and you could help put a test in the hands of every GP
we can raise awareness of the disease and the signs and symptoms, so that people can get a crucial diagnosis, sooner. Just £29 could fund further research to improve the speed of diagnosis. £250 could allow researchers to study 15 patient samples to learn more about the genetic changes that make people more likely to develop pancreatic cancer.
The page will be regularly updated to show my progress and maybe an occasional photo if you need some light relief 😁
Thank you so much for your support! 🙏
