Across Scotland Challenge 2011 · 28 May 2011

We believe that no life should be half lived. 1 in 5 people in Scotland are struggling with a chest, heart or stroke condition. We won't live with that. Join us to support people to live life to the full. #NoLifeHalfLived

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We have travelled across Scotland from Loch Etive on the West Coast to Spey Bay on the East Coast.  The journey involved boat, foot, mountain bike and open canoe.  The total distance covered was around 285km, almost all under our own power.

The trek was planned to offer a remote wilderness experience and a great physical challenge.  We had 2 nights in village halls due to the gale force winds buffeting the West Highlands on Saturday and Sunday.  Camping out for another 6 nights in the idyllic Scottish midgeland, we got sunshine on Friday and Saturday finally. There are some new photos on the website of our arrival at the end of our trek at Spey Bay on Sunday!!

Through our escapades we planned to raise a substantial sum for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.
