We are building a thriving network to support people affected by rare diseases

Story

I'm running the @CambridgeHalfUK marathon & fundraising for @camraredisease This charity supports families affected by rare conditions & raises awareness for better understanding, diagnosis & treatments. Please sponsor me!

Cambridge Rare Disease Network charity is raising awareness and building a network to
address the unmet needs of those affected by rare disease and the professionals supporting
them. CRDN encourages and nurtures collaboration between patients, academics,
researchers, healthcare professionals, pharma and biotech companies and policymakers to
focus on different aspects of rare diseases from data-sharing through to drug development
and patient support. CRDN harnesses expertise and entrepreneurship abundant in the
region to raise awareness through a diverse educational events programme. Long-term
projects include community activities for affected families and a Companies Forum bridging
the gap between them and patients.

If you’re a UK taxpayer your sponsorship will go even further if you tick the Gift Aid box. It doesn’t cost you anything, but it increases your donation by 25%. It means CRDN can claim back the basic rate tax on your donation, which is 25p for every £1 given.

Thank You very much.
