Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Group singing has increasingly become a popular activity over the last decade and there is now an ever-growing amount of research that can clearly demonstrate that participatory singing can offer many mental and physical health & wellbeing benefits. In January of 2020, the Friends of Canterbury Cathedral started a Friendly Singing group, led by Adrian Bawtree and meeting once a month in St Paul's Church in Canterbury, and all was going extremely well...until the pandemic. Undaunted, we went on line, but we are going to start these live sessions again as soon as it is safe to do so.

The 45 minute singing sessions are relaxed, friendly and (very!) participatory. After singing there is a cup of tea and a chance to chat with other singers.
