Story

My Grandson was born with a condition known as Nance Horan Syndrome and this is a genetic condition which causes Blindness Autism deformities He has had numerous operations at Moorefield's and Great Ormond Street and will continue to do so. He is registered Blind and special needs. He is a very happy  little boy and a joy to everyone he meets his mother and father like al parents of disabled children need a lot of support but like Sidney are very brave and courageous Sidney could have none better Moorefield's are wonderful to them and care so much for our Sidney

I am going to on Saturday  22nd  October 2016 in my manual wheelchair , wheel myself from my home in Pagham to the Rotary Wishing Well on The Bognor Regis Seafront a distance of 4 miles. I will be accompanied by Rotary members for safety and support and my assistance dog Glen who was a working sheepdog on my farm now also retired. I want to do this for the bravery my grandson and his parents show . since  Sidney was born his Mum and Dad , Dave and Jill his Grandad and Nannie and Carole and I have like so many watched them try and guide Sidney to a normal life as possible without their love and devotion and everyone who knows them I sometimes wonder how they have made such a happy brave little boy on behalf of us al we thank you and this is for all the  children who have to be looked after at Moorefield's by so many dedicated and wonderful people. Mr Brook's, Sidney's consultant, has kept some sight for Sidney and he and all the staff need our support. The bravery of Sidney is shortly to be officially recognised. I will reveal when I am permitted to do so.

I have ben wheelchair bound for sometime now and my Grandson is my hero whose bravery gives me such inspiration.  Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
