TrekFest - The Beacons 2016 · 4 June 2016 to 5 June 2016 ·

We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

Cancer has affected my immediate family and circle of friends, so I would like to do something to help the fight against it.

The challenge is called TrekFest The Beacons, and takes place on June 4/5/6. I have signed up for the full monty 100 km.

During the weekend I will walk the 100 km course and my goal is to complete it in under 24 hours.

I suspect that I have massively underestimated the challenge and I have a lot to learn about hill walking and long distance trekking, so I would be very grateful if you could provide me with some pressure to complete the course by sponsoring me.
