In February 2018, I will be travelling to Uganda for 3 months as an International Citizen Service (ICS) Volunteer for Balloon Ventures.

I’m really excited to be volunteering for Balloon Ventures, a unique and award winning social enterprise that is supporting small-scale entrepreneurs to develop their talents and grow their own businesses. This creates a truly sustainable development model that enables individuals, families and communities to lift themselves out of poverty.

Through ICS, the UK government will meet all my travel and living costs, so that 100% of the money raised here can go towards supporting other young volunteers to participate in the ICS programme. I need to fundraise £800, so I would be grateful for any donation, big or small, that you feel able to make.
