Those of you who have met me know I've suffered with psoriasis since I was a young girl. It's mostly frustrating that we wait for a new treatment to try out to then see no improvement. Even as recent as this year, a basketball referee told me I cannot be on court with "your skin like that".

Therefore I'm running the London 10k for the Psoriasis Association on the 9th of July to not only raise vital funds for research but to wear my purple vest and tell my story. If this teaches just one person about the awful condition then I'll be happy.

The Psoriasis Association is the leading national charity and membership organisation for people affected by psoriasis in the UK.Through their work, they help people whose lives are affected by psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. They do this through funding research, providing information and raising awareness.
