Our story fo far: Rupert and I decided that we wanted to challenge ourselves at the beginning of the year.  We chose to run 10 miles in the Great South Run... The most I've run before is 5km and Rupert has not ever competed in a race before- so a huge challenge for us both!

We started our training (3x a week) in February, and can so far (16th March) run nearly 6km.  So we only have to nearly triple that by the 24th October (EEEK!)...In case you are interested, we're hoping to complete the race in under 2 hours (which sounds like a really long time still!)

Therefore, anything that you could manage to spare will mentally keep us going on the training between now and then and also provide a huge motivation to complete the 10 miles.  We'd be extremely grateful!
