Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Reading a book is one of the simplest pleasures in life.  It instills the desire to learn and fires the imagination.

In my role as a Digital Skills Officer, the story I hear the most from customers is the regret that they feel from not being able to read due to their sight loss.  As someone who is registered blind, I can relate to this feeling.

This is why RNIB Talking Books are so important.  With your help, we can give the gift of reading back to people with sight loss.

It costs £1500 to professionally studio record a children's talking book.  I  hope to raise this money by gaining sponsorship to do a skydive which will take place in early 2017.  I know it will be scary, but I also know that it won't be half as scary as being told you are losing your sight.

Thank you and wish me luck!
